According to sources, this attack was carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The local oil refinery in the city of Uhta was chosen as the target of the attack.
This event may go down in history as the first direct strike by Ukraine on Russian territory. The Komi Republic is located approximately two thousand kilometers away from Ukraine.
The explosions were so powerful that their sound was clearly heard in residential areas around the plant. Following this, mobile internet and communication services in the area were completely shut down.
Currently, Russian special services are operating near the plant, and access to the area is under strict control. The head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also confirmed the strike on the oil refinery in Uhta.
