An unusual theft occurred at the One Stop Sales store located in La Puente, California, USA. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to reports, around two in the morning, four masked individuals broke into the store and only stole the popular "Labubu" toys. Interestingly, the thieves did not touch the expensive technical equipment, cash in the register, or other goods in the store.
According to officials, the value of the stolen property amounts to at least seven thousand dollars. However, store owner Joanna Avendano stated that the losses could be even greater, potentially thirty thousand dollars or more.
Avendano believes that this theft was premeditated, as the thieves were aware that a new and popular batch of toys had arrived at the store. Additionally, the store opened two months ago and its activities have been actively highlighted on social media.
This may have created convenience for the thieves. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is conducting an investigation into this incident.
This case shows that popular brands and products in the market can become targets for thieves. Furthermore, it has been proven once again that sharing personal and commercial activities openly on social media can pose risks in certain situations.
Therefore, business entities need to distribute information about their activities with caution.
