Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reiterated his firm position regarding the Donbass region. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The head of state emphasized that Kyiv will never leave this region under any circumstances and that no one can force it to do so. According to Zelensky, Ukraine will not exit Donbass and cannot come to such a decision.
If forced to leave the region due to pressure or desire, it would lead to the start of a third world war. Previously, Moscow had offered Kyiv to abandon the Donbass region in exchange for stopping the shelling.
However, Zelensky has clearly stated that he will never agree to violate territorial integrity according to the Ukrainian constitution. In his opinion, giving up territorial sovereignty directly threatens the country's independence.
Recently, on August 15, a significant meeting is planned to be held in Anchorage, Alaska, between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. The issue of resolving the conflict between Russia and Ukraine will also be discussed in these negotiations.
Political analysts believe that the Donbass issue will be one of the most important and contentious topics in these negotiations. The international community and fans are eagerly awaiting what agreements will be reached in this process.
