Czech famous fisherman Jakub Wagner set a unique record at the Vranov reservoir. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He caught a giant catfish measuring approximately three meters in length. On August 4, while the host of the popular "Fisherman" TV show was paddling in a boat, he noticed a large shadow underwater.
Wagner immediately prepared and went for the catch. The struggle with the giant fish was not easy, and the fight lasted nearly 50 minutes.
The catfish resisted with great speed and strength, but the experienced fisherman triumphed with his skill. After bringing the fish to the shore, its enormous size amazed many.
The fisherman took a photo for memory and released the catfish back into the water, adhering to eco-tourism rules. According to experts, such large catfish are rarely found in European waters, and keeping them alive is crucial for preserving the natural environment.
This incident once again highlighted the richness of aquatic life and the necessity of preserving nature.
