
A new figure has emerged in the political arena of Tajikistan — Farzona Imomali, the youngest daughter of the country's president, Emomali Rahmon. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
She has been appointed as the head of the Department of Primary Health Care and International Relations at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population. Official information provided by the ministry's press service emphasized that despite Farzona Imomali's youth, her professional skills and experience were taken into account when assigning her this responsible position.
Since 2021, Farzona Imomali has been working as a specialist in this department. She is active in the medical field and has also gained experience in the area of international cooperation.
Her educational background has also been successful. She was born on July 4, 1998, in Dushanbe.
Initially studying at a local secondary school, she later graduated with honors from the Dushanbe branch of Moscow State University Lyceum in 2014. That same year, she entered the Faculty of Medicine at Tajikistan State Medical University named after Abu Ali ibn Sina and graduated with a distinguished diploma in 2020.
In 2022, she completed her clinical residency in pediatrics, and in 2023, she graduated with a distinguished diploma from the Faculty of Public Administration at the Academy of Public Administration under the President. Farzona Imomali is a member of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan.
She is not married but is responsible for raising one child. Experts believe that her appointment to the new position may give a new impetus to reforms in the healthcare sector of the country.
This will serve to enhance the effectiveness of the healthcare system. Despite her youth, Farzona Imomali is expected to play an important role in further developing the healthcare system with her professional potential and experience in international relations.
