Trump and Lukashenko discussed prisoners over the phone

Additionally, the parties discussed the issue of releasing nearly 1,300 more prisoners. Trump also emphasized that he had considered the possibility of holding a face-to-face meeting with the Belarusian leader in the future.
Furthermore, representatives from Washington and Minsk exchanged views regarding the summit in Anchorage dedicated to resolving the Ukraine conflict. Prior to the meeting in Alaska, efforts are underway to coordinate political positions and unify diplomatic matters.
