Despite having a large nail 12 centimeters long embedded in his head, a man living in Nizhny Novgorod survived. This incident is considered a true miracle by doctors.
According to the information, the surgery was performed under the leadership of Alexander Lavrenyuk, head of the neurosurgery department, and experienced doctor Pavel Smirnov. The operation lasted more than three hours, and the specialists managed to carefully remove the nail from the patient's skull.
After the surgery, the patient's condition was severe. He was treated in the hospital for a total of 53 days, spending 40 of those days in the intensive care unit in a coma.
Thanks to the determined efforts of the doctors and prolonged intensive care measures, the patient was brought back to life. He is currently undergoing rehabilitation.
According to preliminary information, his physical condition is stable and he is gradually returning to daily life. Doctors regard this case not only as a medical success but also as a vivid example of strong willpower and the fight for life.
