A 42-year-old woman from Brazil was arrested at an international airport while attempting to illegally transport 10 kilograms of cocaine. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
She was traveling from São Paulo to Switzerland and tried to smuggle the narcotic substance hidden in her personal luggage. Thanks to the modern control system and X-ray equipment at the airport, the crime was immediately detected and the woman was detained.
Earlier, on August 2, 5 kilograms of cocaine hidden among several skirts were found in one of her suitcases. The next day, when the police inspected the second suitcase, they discovered another 5 kilograms of narcotics.
Thus, it was confirmed that she attempted to illegally transport a total of 10 kilograms of cocaine. This case highlights not only the quantity of the crime but also its organization and danger.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are taking legal measures against the woman. An investigation is underway, and a special deportation process has been initiated.
The goal is to return the woman to her home country and hold her accountable under the law. This case once again confirms the importance of international cooperation in the fight against crime.
