Humanitarian crisis in Gaza is worsening, patients are dying
The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is worsening. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

On Wednesday night, 20-year-old Mara Abu Zuhri, who was evacuated to the city of Pisa at the initiative of the Italian government, died less than 48 hours after being admitted to the hospital. Local media reported this.

According to information, the young woman came to Italy accompanied by her mother and died of a heart attack while being treated at the Pisa University Clinic. Doctors emphasize that her body weight and muscle mass had sharply decreased, and she had not eaten adequately for a long time.

The UN is issuing serious warnings regarding the situation in Gaza. Experts' reports note that the worst-case scenario of famine is unfolding in the region.

However, the Israeli government denies these claims and accuses UN agencies of hindering humanitarian aid delivery. Italy has so far received more than 180 children and adults from Gaza.

Among them are those suffering from severe injuries, congenital diseases, or amputations. This week, another 31 patients and their companions were placed in Rome, Milan, and Pisa.

Members of the British Parliament are also urging the government to urgently implement a program to evacuate children and the wounded from Gaza. They believe that delays could lead to serious consequences for human lives.

Currently, Israel has announced the start of a plan to relocate residents of Gaza City to safe areas. However, due to regular airstrikes, artillery shelling, and heavy bombardments, the situation, especially in the Zeitoun district, has reached a catastrophic level.

The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that at least 36 people have died as a result of recent strikes, and 11 people have died from starvation. Israeli military stresses that they are trying to reduce casualties among civilians and view the figures provided by Hamas-controlled sources with skepticism.

At the same time, they place responsibility for the humanitarian crisis on the Hamas movement. Experts emphasize that such tragic events once again demonstrate how severe and catastrophic the situation in Gaza is.
