Thousands forced to flee due to attacks in Gaza
As a result of Israel's continuous attacks, thousands of residents in the Zeitun neighborhood of Gaza city have been forced to leave their homes. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to the Gaza Civil Defense Agency, at least 40 people were killed across the region on Saturday. The Israeli government plans to occupy Gaza and relocate a large portion of the population to southern camps.

The army's statement said that the permission for residents to bring tents and essential items for shelter will continue. However, the United Nations strongly criticized this plan.

According to local officials, 80 percent of the city's infrastructure has been destroyed, and the remaining hospitals are operating under difficult conditions. According to UN data, more than 1.9 million people in Gaza have been forced to leave their homes.

At the same time, deaths are increasing due to shortages of food and medicine. In Israel, thousands of people took to the streets to protest the government's plan to occupy Gaza.

Roads were blocked, trains stopped, and many shops closed. Protesters are demanding the release of hostages and an end to the war.

In October 2023, an attack carried out by Hamas resulted in 1,200 deaths and 251 people taken hostage. Since then, ongoing military actions have reportedly caused over 61,000 deaths in Gaza.

These events are causing a deep social and political crisis in the region. It is emphasized that the human losses are very significant for both sides.
