A major special operation was conducted in Washington, the capital of the United States, through cooperation between federal and local law enforcement agencies. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During this operation, a total of 68 individuals were arrested. This was announced by the country's Attorney General Pam Bondi on social media.
According to Bondi, last night a raid against crime was carried out in cooperation with federal agents and the Columbia police. During the raid, more than 300 individuals were recorded, 15 illegal firearms were confiscated, and several criminal cases were opened.
“Together with our federal partners, 68 individuals were arrested. Among them are those suspected of murder and persons involved in drug trafficking,” said the Attorney General.
According to information, some of those arrested were previously wanted. Investigations and court proceedings are currently ongoing against them.
This is the first large-scale operation conducted in Washington in recent months. Experts emphasize that these measures are aimed at strengthening security in the city and significantly reducing the level of crime.
