Dubai police have uncovered the theft of a rare pink diamond valued at 25 million dollars. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During the investigation, three members of the criminal group were arrested. The diamond owner had brought it from Europe to the United Arab Emirates with the intention of selling it.
The criminals planned the theft for over a year, posing as intermediaries for wealthy buyers. To make a good impression on affluent individuals, they rented luxury cars and organized meetings in lavish hotels.
The criminals invited the diamond owner to a villa and stole the stone. Dubai police formed a rapid response team and, using modern technology and artificial intelligence, located and arrested the suspects within 8 hours.
The diamond was recovered, and it was revealed that the criminals had hidden it in a small freezer, planning to smuggle it out of the country. This case was quickly resolved thanks to the effective work of Dubai police and the use of advanced methods.
