
According to Russian presidential aide Yushakov, Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump held a direct phone conversation half an hour ago. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The conversation lasted approximately 40 minutes and the relations between the two leaders were sincere, open, and constructive. During the communication, Trump informed Putin about the diplomatic negotiations being conducted with Ukrainian President Zelensky and European leaders.
Additionally, both sides expressed their readiness to support direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. This step serves to ease the situation in the region and strengthen relations.
Yushakov emphasized that the Presidents of the Russian Federation and the US agreed to maintain regular contact regarding the Ukraine crisis and other pressing international issues. At the same time, Putin specifically highlighted that he considers Trump's efforts to regulate the situation in Ukraine important.
During the conversation, the Russian president thanked Trump for his hospitality and for well organizing the meeting held in Alaska. Sincere respect and gratitude were also expressed for the achievements reached.
This communication marks a new stage in the regional diplomatic processes and international relations and clearly demonstrates the two leaders' readiness to conduct open and constructive negotiations.
