Stealing rainwater is considered a crime in Germany
In Germany, a woman who takes rainwater without permission can be held criminally liable. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

A 51-year-old woman living in the city of Spaxingen is under investigation by the police for taking water from a barrel in her neighbor's yard to fill her own containers. This incident was reported by the publication Pravilamag.

According to the police, although the material damage is not significant, using someone else's property without permission is considered theft. The police statement said that once rainwater falls from the sky and collects in the barrel, it belongs to its owner.

According to the investigation results, the incident occurred around four o'clock. The woman crossed the street twice with a water container and took approximately 40 liters of water from her neighbor's yard.

During the second time she was taking water, she hid behind a trash bin, concealed from a car. The Welt publication estimated the damage amount at 15 cents.

Nevertheless, according to German law, even stealing items of insignificant value can lead to serious punishment. These penalties include a large fine or imprisonment for up to five years.

Thus, it is emphasized that even actions that seem minor can lead to serious consequences before the law
