Last time, in response to a sharp question from a journalist, the president responded politely and sarcastically: "You are still in that suit," he said. "I have changed, but you have not," he added.

They showed respect and sincerity to Trump, trying to gain an advantage to influence opponents. Additionally, Zelenskiy made a special impact by handing a letter from his wife to the First Lady.
This gesture referred to Melania Trump's letter to Putin calling for the protection of children. When the Ukrainian president handed the letter to Trump, he said, "This is not for you, but for your wife."
