A Central Asian migrant attempting to set fire to a train in the Udmurt Republic of Russia has been detained. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The RBK news agency reported on this. The incident occurred in the city of Glazov.

The suspect was caught by security forces disguised as a street sweeper. It was revealed that the security forces identified his intention and prevented him from preparing.

The person in the sweeper outfit was detained and neutralized through special measures. Footage released by the Russian Federal Security Service shows three special agents apprehending the suspect.

Under their control, parts and a mobile phone necessary for making improvised incendiary devices were found. A criminal case has been opened under articles related to preparation for terrorism and promotion of terrorist activities.
