Former US President Donald Trump stated that it is unclear whether Russian leader Vladimir Putin is ready to end the war in Ukraine. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to Trump, if Putin does not agree to a deal, it will cause serious problems for Russia. During a meeting at the White House, Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held peace negotiations.
Zelensky called this meeting an important step towards peace. Leaders of Germany, France, and the United Kingdom also participated in the summit.
At the same time, Russia continues its attacks. According to Ukrainian military reports, last night Russia launched more than 270 drones and 10 missiles.
A large fire broke out at an oil refinery in the Poltava region. A Ukrainian official announced that Russia has returned the bodies of over 1,000 Ukrainian soldiers who were killed.
In turn, Ukraine handed over the bodies of 19 Russian soldiers. Experts emphasize that Trump's position on security guarantees is unclear.
