The US continues peace negotiations between Israel and HAMAS

According to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, the US is continuing negotiations on a new ceasefire plan envisaging a 60-day truce between Israel and HAMAS. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

She noted that HAMAS's acceptance of this proposal is not coincidental following the recent sharp statement made by the US President on the Truth Social platform. Although White House officials have not disclosed additional details, it has been confirmed that the negotiations are ongoing.

The proposed ceasefire plan is emphasized as potentially easing the tense situation in the region. Armed clashes between Israel and HAMAS have resulted in the deaths of hundreds of civilians.
