The storm is moving over the Atlantic Ocean and is not expected to make landfall. However, the North Carolina area has been identified as the place most likely to suffer damage.

For this reason, swimming has also been banned in New Jersey and Delaware. North Carolina Governor Josh Stein addressed the public, emphasizing that the storm poses a serious threat and that no one should enter the sea.

He also stated that rescuers and the National Guard are prepared for the storm's consequences. Officials have announced a mandatory evacuation on the Hatteras Islands because main roads may be submerged, making it difficult for people to go outside.

The storm's winds are reaching speeds of 168 kilometers per hour, and wave heights may reach up to 4.5 meters. Experts emphasize that the storm is stronger than usual and that its effects will last for several days.
