Their size and shape allow children to easily put them in their mouths, which can block the airways. The commission emphasizes that Labubu toys are highly likely to break into small parts, increasing the risk of choking in children.

Such cases can lead to severe injuries or even tragic outcomes. Experts have stated that these defects have been found in products imported from China to the United States.

Therefore, it is recommended to carefully inspect all types of Labubu toys. For reference, Labubu is an elf-like character created in 2015 by Hong Kong artist Lun Kasin.

It is distinguished by its large eyes, pointed ears, and bucktooth-like teeth. Unlike other toys, its fantastic appearance has sparked great interest among children and collectors.
