Russia has announced the energy facilities that cannot be attacked
The Russian government has presented a list of energy facilities that are prohibited from being attacked in the agreement reached through the mediation of the United States with Ukraine. This document was published on the Kremlin's website on March 25, Tuesday.

Attacks on oil refineries, nuclear power plants, and hydroelectric power stations are prohibited

The document states that the list has been agreed upon between the Russian and American sides. However, it has not been confirmed by the US or Ukraine.

The list includes nuclear power plants, hydroelectric power stations, oil refineries, oil and gas pipelines, storage and pumping stations, power plants, substations, transformers and distributors, and electricity generation and transmission infrastructure.

The Kremlin emphasized that the moratorium on attacking them will be in effect for 30 days starting from March 18 and may be extended. "If the moratorium is violated by one of the parties, the other party has the right to consider itself exempt from its obligations to comply with it," Russian officials warned.

Zelensky: Russia is misrepresenting the terms of the agreement

On March 25, Volodymyr Zelensky accused the Kremlin of misrepresenting the terms of the agreements to cease fire in the Black Sea and to prohibit attacks on energy infrastructure. "The Russians have already started to manipulate. They are violating agreements and trying to deceive both our mediators and the whole world," said the Ukrainian president.

In a statement on March 25 regarding the results of the negotiations in Riyadh, the White House stated that Washington has agreed to develop measures to implement the agreement to prohibit attacks on energy facilities in Russia and Ukraine.

Officials from both warring states also made similar statements. However, only Moscow referred to March 18 as the start date of the agreement and also indicated the possibility of extending or canceling the agreement.
