Search for missing Iranian climbers in Kyrgyzstan stopped
The search for two missing Iranian climbers on Pik Pobeda in Kyrgyzstan has been stopped. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was reported by News.ru. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic, the weather conditions in the search area remain very difficult and dangerous.

For this reason, all search operations have been temporarily suspended. So far, there is no definite information about the resumption of search efforts this year.

The Iranian climbers Maryam Pilehvari and Hasan Seyfollah had come at the beginning of August to climb Pik Pobeda. The last contact with them was made about two weeks ago.

Experts believe they may have perished. Earlier, on August 12, Russian climber Natalya Nagovitsyna broke her leg on Pik Pobeda.

Her rescue operation was successfully completed. At the same time, an Italian climber who tried to rescue her twice died.

He felt unwell at an altitude of 6800 meters. During radio communication with doctors, he was diagnosed with brain swelling, but there was no possibility to rescue him.
