Sharp dispute between Ukrainian and Hungarian ministers
On Sunday, August 24, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha strongly reacted to the statements made by Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Sybiha emphasized that no one, not even Hungary, has the right to teach Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky what to do or when to speak. In his social media post, he stressed that no one dictates to the Ukrainian leader how to make decisions, when to speak, or what opinions to express.

He noted that he is the President of Ukraine, not Hungary. This dispute arose following Zelensky's speech at the event dedicated to the 34th anniversary of Ukraine's independence.

Zelensky had stated that the attacks on the "Druzhba" oil pipeline were related to Hungary's position on Ukraine's accession to the European Union. He said he has always supported the friendship between Ukraine and Hungary, but now the fate of the "Druzhba" pipeline directly depends on Hungary's stance.

In response, Hungary perceived this comment as a threat. Péter Szijjártó said in his statement that Zelensky used the national holiday to threaten Hungary and firmly rejected such intimidating words from the Ukrainian president.

He also called on Zelensky to stop attacks targeting Hungary's energy security. Thus, tensions between Kyiv and Budapest have escalated again.

Experts believe this situation could become a new crisis point in relations between Ukraine and the European Union. Political observers and fans are closely watching how the dispute between the two countries will conclude.
