The US government is planning to introduce new requirements in the visa issuance process for foreigners. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the Wall Street Journal, immigrants' activities on social media will also be thoroughly examined and analyzed. Two important aspects will be focused on during the application review: first, statements that could be considered "anti-American," and second, potential connections to terrorism.
Currently, which statements are officially classified as "anti-American" has not been defined. Representatives of the US State Department have expressed a firm stance on this matter.
They emphasized that if someone does not like America, it is better for them not to try to live in this country. At the same time, the State Department is currently conducting additional checks on more than 55 million visa holders.
If violations of laws or rules are identified, the visas of such individuals may be revoked and they may be deported from the country. These measures are being implemented to ensure US security and uphold the rule of law within the country.
