American Liza Fairman has been included in the Guinness World Records as the owner of the world's largest puzzle collection. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The organization's official website announced this news. The previous record was set in 2023 by American John Wolchak, who had collected 2,000 puzzles.
Liza nearly doubled this figure, gathering 4,060 different puzzles. She began her interest in puzzles in 2019.
She mainly chooses products from the Ravensburger Puzzles company. Her collection includes 123 series of puzzles featuring Christmas scenes, Disney characters, the "Friends" TV show, James Bond films, and the famous "Hello Kitty".
Some of her items are considered very rare. For example, she spent seven years searching for a puzzle depicting the character Yoda from the "Star Wars" film.
Liza also actively participates in puzzle competitions. She has taken part three times in the national championship and once in the world championship.
However, she admits that she often felt tired after competitions. According to her, although competitions are somewhat challenging, she prefers to participate as a pair or in a team.
Through these events, she enjoys meeting other puzzle enthusiasts, making friends, and meeting artists. Liza says she never aimed to set a record.
In her opinion, puzzles were simply a favorite hobby that gradually turned into a great passion. As a result, Liza Fairman's collection is considered the largest puzzle collection not only in the USA but worldwide.
