9-year-old Frankie Macmillan from England is currently recognized as one of the youngest and most active alpinists. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He has conquered more than 700 mountain peaks so far, including the ten highest peaks in Europe. Frankie's love for mountains began at the age of three.
Since then, he has spent a lot of time in the mountains together with his mother Basia. According to his mother, a large part of their life is spent in the mountains.
During the current summer season, Frankie climbed famous peaks such as Gerlach in Slovakia (2655 meters), Rysy in Poland (2499 meters), and Sněžka in the Czech Republic (1603 meters). Since June, he and his mother have conquered a total of 15 peaks, 11 of which are over 2000 meters high.
Recently, Frankie signed a contract with Athlete Media Group and began working as a UN health ambassador. Despite difficult conditions, early morning climbs, and the risk of encountering bears, they are making big plans for next summer.
They are also planning to organize a climb of one of the peaks for charity purposes. Frankie's activities serve as an inspiration for the younger generation, and his passion and courage for the mountains are highly recognized in the field of alpinism.
