Germany to provide Ukraine with 9 billion euros
During his visit to Kyiv, Germany's Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil discussed the planned financial aid and support to be provided to Ukraine. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Germany is ready to allocate at least 9 billion euros. These funds will be spent on strengthening Ukraine's air defense and supplying new military weapons.

On August 25, during a meeting between the Ukrainian president and the German vice-chancellor, the issue of enhancing defense against the large-scale aggression initiated by Russia was discussed. Ukraine expects to receive new military equipment from Germany, including Patriot and IRIS-T surface-to-air missile systems.

Zelensky emphasized that Germany's financial assistance will play a crucial role in strengthening Ukraine's air defense against attacks. Additionally, matters concerning the PURL program for purchasing US weapons and acquiring two Patriot systems were also considered.

Germany's aid serves to strengthen Ukraine's security. During the meeting, agreements were reached to intensify sanctions against Russia and to provide security guarantees to Ukraine.

Germany plays a leading role in developing and implementing these guarantees. These intergovernmental agreements are of strategic importance for Ukraine and help increase public confidence.

Germany's assistance will be a key factor in further strengthening Ukraine's defense.
