According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, more than one hundred thousand homes have been left without electricity as a result of Russia's recent drone attacks. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The greatest damage was recorded in the Poltava, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions. According to the Ministry of Energy, these attacks are a continuation of Russia's policy to damage civilian infrastructure ahead of winter.
Last year, half of the country's electrical system was also damaged. As Zelensky emphasized, the attacks were carried out in one day using approximately one hundred drones.
In addition to energy facilities, schools in Kharkiv and multi-story buildings in Kherson were also damaged. Ukraine, in turn, reports having struck oil refineries and fuel depots in Russia.
Fighting continues in the Donetsk region, with Russia attempting to advance in some areas. These events highlight the complexity of the situation in the region and the need for decisive measures to achieve peace.
