His visit, taking place close to Uzbekistan's Independence Day, is expected to further strengthen the friendship and cooperation ties between the countries. Zampolli held a productive meeting with Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Baxtiyor Saidov.
During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in education, culture, innovation, and business sectors. They also exchanged views on issues of regional and global significance.
Minister Saidov noted on his Telegram channel that the meeting was productive and emphasized that there are great opportunities to further strengthen the bridges between the countries. Special Representative Zampolli promotes the programmatic ideas of US President Donald Trump on developing global partnerships.
His main task is to promote American achievements, demonstrate the United States' leadership potential in the world, and strengthen diplomatic relations. Zampolli wishes to closely cooperate with Uzbekistan's cultural and scientific institutions.
Additionally, he has planned meetings with the country's Olympic champions and athletes. Together with US Ambassador Jonathan Henick, he will participate in a ceremony at the newly opened "American Corner Tashkent" center to promote American values and educational opportunities.
