Record amount of drugs seized in Australia
A major operation against crime was successfully carried out in Australia. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Border troops and law enforcement agencies seized one of the largest drug consignments in the country's history. According to official data, the total value of the seized narcotics amounts to 64 million Australian dollars.

This amount is approximately equivalent to 41.8 million US dollars, with a total weight of nearly 900 kilograms. This figure represents a new record for Australia.

According to a police statement, a comprehensive investigation is currently underway regarding a criminal case related to an attempt to smuggle amphetamine-type drugs into the country through the state of New South Wales. The statement described the incident as "one of the largest drug crimes in Australian history."

According to law enforcement agencies, the drugs were concealed using a special method. The substances were placed in containers disguised as spring broth and were designed to go unnoticed by their appearance.

Investigators believe that an internationally operating organized criminal group may be behind this crime. Therefore, the Australian police are conducting additional inquiries in cooperation with international partner organizations.

This incident once again demonstrated how serious and urgent the fight against drugs is in the country. The seizure of such a large batch of dangerous substances is considered an important step in protecting the population from various negative consequences.
