The International Association of Scientists has assessed Israel's actions in Gaza as resembling a policy of genocide. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to them, Israel's attacks fully correspond to the definition of genocide outlined in the United Nations Convention. The majority of the association's members supported this decision.
The document indicated that the attacks, destruction, and forced displacement of the population in Gaza are signs of genocide. The Israeli government denies such accusations and describes its actions as measures of self-defense.
Additionally, cases against Israel for conducting a policy of genocide are being considered in international judicial bodies. The "Hamas" movement supported this decision and stated that it can be applied in international courts.
Earlier, the association of scientists had also recognized certain historical events as policies of genocide. This situation is causing significant debates in the international community.
