The Chinese government has introduced the possibility for Russian citizens to travel visa-free for 30 days. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This new regulation will be applied on a trial basis for one year starting from September 15. This decision aims to significantly increase the flow of tourists traveling from Russia to mainland China.
According to the Russian Tourism Industry Union (RSSI), the new regulation allows for multiple repeated trips and helps develop the tourism sector. Additionally, the Russian Tour Operators Association (RTOA) emphasized that the number of Russians traveling to Asian countries via China may also increase.
Experts believe that if ticket prices do not rise sharply, this new regulation will further strengthen tourism potential. This initiative serves to reinforce tourism ties between China and Russia, providing travelers with greater freedom.
Moreover, it is considered an important step in developing regional tourism. This change will form the basis for further cultural and economic cooperation between the two countries.
