Relations between China and Russia are entering a new phase. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, starting from September 15, 2025, citizens of the Russian Federation will have the right to enter China without a visa. This arrangement will be implemented on a trial basis for one year and will be valid until September 14, 2026.
During this period, Russian citizens will be able to come to China visa-free for business, tourism, or personal visits and stay for up to 30 days. Official representatives of Beijing emphasize that this decision was made to strengthen cooperation between the two countries and promote the free exchange of citizens.
Officials from the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that this initiative will serve not only travel but also the development of trade and cultural relations. Experts believe that this step is also politically significant, as the strategic partnership between Moscow and Beijing has significantly strengthened in recent years.
China has previously established similar visa-free regimes with a number of countries, which has significantly increased tourism and economic ties. The new arrangement with Russia will further enhance bilateral relations.
Thus, new opportunities are being created for Russian tourists and entrepreneurs. China, in turn, continues to take important steps to revitalize its economy and enhance its position on the international stage.
