Nestlé CEO resigned due to personal relationships
Nestlé CEO Laurent Freyshe resigned from his position after his personal relationship with an employee under his supervision was revealed. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The announcement was made through the company's official website. According to Nestlé's code of conduct, such relationships between a manager and an employee are strictly prohibited.

The company’s management emphasized that this decision was made in accordance with Nestlé's values and governance principles. Philippe Navratil was appointed to the position vacated by Laurent Freyshe.

He previously played a significant role in the development of the Nescafe and Nespresso brands and has been a member of Nestlé's Executive Board since January 1, 2025. In July, the incident that occurred at a Coldplay concert involving the "kiss-camera" also sparked widespread discussions.

In this video, the company's HR head Kristin Cabot and IT specialist Andy Byron were shown as a married couple. The video's circulation caused a huge stir on the internet and generated many memes.

Following this, it was announced that Andy Byron left the company. The company’s statement highlighted that leaders are required to adhere to standards of ethics and responsibility, but these requirements have recently been violated.

After Byron, Kristin Cabot also left her position. Additionally, unexpectedly, 54-year-old actress Gwyneth Paltrow was appointed as the interim representative of the "Astronom" company.

She announced this through a humorous video clip and answered the most frequently asked questions about the company's activities. Among others, she responded to questions such as "Oh God, what happened?" and "How does your SMM team approach this situation?"
