Jupiter supercomputer launched in Germany
The exaflops supercomputer named Jupiter has been launched in the city of Jülich, Germany. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This supercomputer is built on Nvidia's modern processors and incorporates high-tech innovations. Jupiter can perform quintillions of mathematical calculations per second, and its computing power is approximately equivalent to the combined efficiency of ten million ordinary laptops.

The project development involved active participation from France's Atos IT group and Germany's ParTec company. At the opening ceremony, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz emphasized that this supercomputer will help Europe maintain an advantage in artificial intelligence and high technology sectors in competition with the USA and China.

The Jupiter supercomputer is intended not only for computational power but also for wide application in biotechnology, climate research, complex modeling, and many other scientific fields. Through this, Europe will reduce its dependence on foreign digital services and gain the ability to develop an independent digital infrastructure.

From a technological perspective, the Jupiter supercomputer has created new opportunities for artificial intelligence projects in Europe. It plays a crucial role in accurately forecasting climate changes through high-power computations, developing complex models in biotechnological research, and advancing innovations in scientific fields.

According to experts, this supercomputer launched in Germany holds strategic importance for the European scientific community and economic sector. This major technological project will provide European countries with high-power computing capabilities, representing an important step forward in promoting new scientific and innovative projects.
