According to the data from the National Statistics Committee, more than 18,600 Uzbekistanis traveled to the Republic of Korea from January to July 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This figure is 6,400 people, or approximately 52 percent, higher compared to the same period last year. The main purpose of the trips was tourism, with travels during the seven months of this year distributed as follows: 12,836 people for tourism, 3,734 for visiting relatives, 1,789 for studying, 224 for business trips, and 33 for medical treatment.

These data show that interest in the Republic of Korea is increasing year by year. This indicates further development of cultural and social ties between the countries.

The increase in trips reflects the expansion of opportunities in travel, education, work, and healthcare sectors. Additionally, this trend expresses the aspiration of Uzbek citizens to gain experience abroad and take advantage of new opportunities.
