US President Donald Trump plans to sell advanced “Reaper” and other large military drones abroad. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This decision aims to facilitate the sale of drones to Saudi Arabia and other countries. According to the plan, drones will be recognized as aircraft, which allows bypassing the restrictions of the 1987 missile control treaty.

Thus, US companies will be able to freely sell drones on the international market. Currently, US drone manufacturers are competing with rivals in countries such as Israel, China, and Turkey.

This new policy will help strengthen the US as a leading drone supplier. The first major sale is expected to be made with Saudi Arabia.

However, experts warn that this decision may increase the risk of violence and instability in the region. Therefore, caution is necessary when selling military technologies.
