Lamin Yamal, the forward of the Spain national team and FC Barcelona, faced a serious problem after losing his passport in Turkey. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the local publication “Beyaz Futbol,” the 18-year-old talented footballer was unable to find his document just before leaving Turkey. In the qualifying match against Turkey held last weekend, Yamal made two precise assists and played a key role in his team's 6-0 victory.
However, after the game ended, the player could not find his passport in the locker room. He searched for his document for some time but to no avail.
Local media suggest that the passport might have been left on the team bus or lost while traveling from the airport to the hotel. Currently, it is unclear how Lamin Yamal will return to Spain.
This season, Yamal has appeared in three La Liga matches for Barcelona, showing high efficiency with two goals and three assists. The way the young footballer resolves this issue is being closely followed by the team and fans, as not only his club but also the Spain national team are hopeful for his services.
