Tariffs in the United States are becoming a heavy burden for manufacturers. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Matouk company faces additional expenses exceeding 100 thousand dollars every month. This situation arises due to high tariffs imposed on fabrics and other products imported from India and Portugal.
According to experts, such measures do not benefit enterprises; on the contrary, they increase product prices and reduce funds allocated for the development of production and the introduction of new technologies. Local entrepreneur Frank Teixeira emphasized that this policy will have a negative impact on the US economy in the long term.
According to him, the process of restoring production will become more complicated. Although some entrepreneurs support the creation of fair trade conditions, the current tariffs lead to additional costs and reduced profits for many small and medium-sized enterprises.
This situation may negatively affect economic growth and competitiveness in the manufacturing sector. Therefore, it is necessary to reconsider tariff policies and take measures to support manufacturers.
