Explosion on aid ship near Tunis to Gaza

The Tunisian government has denied reports that a ship carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza, including Greta Thunberg, was attacked by a drone. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to the flotilla organizers, the ship sailing under the Portuguese flag was struck near Tunis and caught fire. However, all passengers and crew members survived.

The Tunisian National Guard stated that no drone flights were recorded and that the explosion may have occurred inside the ship. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

This flotilla set off from Barcelona last week, with the main goal of delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza. Similar ships have previously been stopped by Israel.

Accurate information about the incident is being reviewed, and the situation is under control.
