Thailand court returned Thaksin Shinawatra to prison

He was transferred to the hospital immediately due to heart disease after spending less than a day in prison. The court's decision emphasized that Thaksin's illness is not serious and that he can be treated outside of prison.

Therefore, it was determined that he must serve the remainder of his sentence in prison. Thaksin has been recognized as an important figure in Thai politics since 2001.

His family remains active in politics, with his daughter Petongtarn continuing the party as part of the opposition. This event is considered one of the significant developments in Thai politics.
