Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro made an important statement on the international stage. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to him, the Third World War is not a mere assumption or threat, but a process that has already begun. He revealed this in an interview with the “Russia Today” television channel.
Maduro recalled that two years ago Pope Francis said the world was heading towards the Third World War. In his opinion, many conflicts and tense situations on the world map are clear evidence of this process.
The Venezuelan leader criticized the United States as the main cause of global conflicts. According to him, Washington's goal is to ensure political, economic, and military dominance worldwide.
Maduro emphasized that as a result of US policy, armed clashes have intensified in various regions. At the same time, sharp statements against Venezuela are also being heard from US military circles.
For example, US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth indicated that American troops in Caracas might be ready for a regime change. Former US President Donald Trump also expressed harsh opinions about Maduro, calling him the worst president in history.
However, he officially denied military plans against Venezuela. Last month, US Attorney General Pam Bondi announced a $50 million reward for information leading to the arrest of Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro.
This has further escalated tensions between the countries. Officials emphasize that the global political situation is becoming more tense.
Conflicts in various regions and tensions between major powers pose a serious threat to world peace. Maduro's statement that “The Third World War has begun” is causing new debates in the global political environment.
