Russian celebrities recovered their money in Istanbul
The Turkish police helped return the stolen funds of Russian celebrities Valeriya and her husband, producer Iosif Prigozhin, in Istanbul. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The incident involved the guests getting into a taxi where the driver demanded a $30 fare and asked for prepayment by card. He repeatedly passed the terminal back and forth, asking Prigozhin to place his card.

Each time, the driver used the producer's plastic card and eventually withdrew a total of $12,000 in four installments of $3,000 each. Suspecting this, Prigozhin took a photo of the taxi and immediately contacted the police.

The law enforcement officers quickly apprehended the fraudster, forcing him to apologize and return the money. As a result, Valeriya and Prigozhin received all the funds back in cash in Turkish lira.

This incident serves as a warning example for travelers, highlighting the need for increased caution during trips. Thanks to the prompt action of the police, the criminal was punished and the funds were returned to their owners.
