Ukrainian drones were destroyed near Moscow

On the night transitioning to Friday, September 12, nine Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed near Russia's capital, Moscow. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The city mayor, Sergey Sobyanin, announced this. According to him, several groups of drones were intercepted during the night, and emergency services operated in the areas where the fragmented parts fell.

So far, there is no information about damage or casualties. At the same time, Ukrainian OSINT channels reported that an oil refinery in the Smolensk region was attacked, but this information has not been confirmed by official sources.

As a result of the attacks, temporary restrictions were imposed at Kaluga airport near Moscow. According to Artem Korenyako, a representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency, the airport temporarily suspended receiving flights and passenger flights.

This incident is another part of the sequence of air attacks and counterstrikes between Ukraine and Russia. Experts believe that attacks carried out by drones may maintain the tension between the two sides for some time.
