The entry of Russian drones into Polish airspace has raised concerns among NATO countries. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
On Wednesday morning, three drones were shot down over Polish skies, and several more drones crashed in the eastern regions. As a result of this incident, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic announced that they would send their troops, artillery, and air defense systems to Poland.
Germany is also planning to expand its activities along NATO's eastern borders. Polish Defense Minister Vladislav positively assessed the real assistance from NATO partners.
According to him, the Netherlands will send 300 soldiers and air defense equipment, while the Czech Republic will send one hundred soldiers and helicopters. Additionally, there are reports that the United Kingdom and France may also send additional aircraft.
Experts consider this event a deliberate test carried out by Russia. The drone attack, occurring on the eve of the large joint military exercises named "Zapad-2025" by Belarus and Russia, could further escalate the situation in the region.
This situation is a serious concern for NATO and requires strengthening defense measures.
