Trump and Al-Soni discussed the Israel-Hamas conflict

US President Donald Trump met with Qatar's Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Soni in New York City. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The meeting took place following Israel's attack against Hamas leaders in Doha. Trump called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to express his dissatisfaction with the attack and emphasized to Qatar that such situations must not be repeated.

Additionally, Qatar's Prime Minister held meetings with US Vice President Jay D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The negotiations extensively covered mediation efforts and security issues in the region.

Qatar is acting as an important mediator regarding the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza, the release of prisoners, and post-war reconstruction efforts. Al-Soni clearly stated that Qatar will not give up its mediation role.

These meetings are an important part of efforts aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region.
