Additionally, Qatar's Prime Minister held meetings with US Vice President Jay D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The negotiations extensively covered mediation efforts and security issues in the region.
Qatar is acting as an important mediator regarding the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza, the release of prisoners, and post-war reconstruction efforts. Al-Soni clearly stated that Qatar will not give up its mediation role.
