It has been announced that Apple’s new iPhone Air model will not be temporarily available for sale in the Chinese market. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The South China Morning Post and Oxu.Az sites widely covered this news. According to the information, the company was unable to obtain the necessary permission required for official registration of this model in China.
For this reason, the sale of the iPhone Air has been postponed from the planned date. On the other hand, other models in Apple’s iPhone 17 series will be released for sale in China and global markets starting from September 19.
This expands the opportunity for users to acquire new gadgets. According to sources, the iPhone Air does not have a regular SIM card slot and operates only based on virtual SIM card technology, that is, eSIM.
In China, special permission from government authorities is required to activate devices with eSIM technology. Therefore, Apple’s new model is temporarily not being sold in China.
The company is striving to resolve this issue in the near future through its strategy based on technology and innovation.
