Farmers are facing difficulties in the international market
Farmers like Tim Maxwell in the United States are facing serious difficulties in selling their products to international markets. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
President Donald Trump's tariff policy and the trade conflict with China have further complicated their financial situation. Many farmers, especially those delivering soybeans and other crops to China, are encountering problems.
The rise in fertilizer prices and disruptions in supply chains have worsened the economic condition of small farms. At the same time, loyalty towards Trump remains among the rural population.
Farmers hope that his tariff policy will be beneficial in the long term and that government subsidies will provide assistance. Experts emphasize that this loyalty is linked to historical and cultural factors.
The rural population considers themselves excluded from cities and global processes, viewing Republicans as a protective force. Thus, despite economic difficulties, farmers' political beliefs remain unchanged.
