Netanyahu: Hamas leaders are not protected abroad

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Hamas leaders are not under protection abroad even after the recent attack in Qatar. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

He emphasized that Israel has the right to defend itself beyond its borders. At a meeting in Jerusalem with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Netanyahu said that the attack was carried out solely by Israel.

Meanwhile, Arab countries held a summit in Qatar and issued strong statements against Israel. The UN warned that the displacement of the population in Gaza could lead to more serious consequences.

The meeting took place on the eve of the UN General Assembly. Several Western countries are expected to officially recognize Palestine.

Netanyahu once again declared that the establishment of a Palestinian state will not be allowed through the construction of new Jewish settlements in the West Bank. It is warned that this situation could further escalate conflicts in the region.
