Drone control is being taught at school in Lithuania
Modern education programs in Lithuania are constantly covering new directions. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

At a school in the city of Kedaynyay, students aged 10 to 14 participate in training sessions on the use and control of drones. Journalists visiting the school observed that the educational process is conducted based on modern equipment and precise manuals.

According to Valdas Yankauskas, director of Lithuania's informal education agency, currently at least 10-15 percent of students are expected to pursue careers in engineering or defense in the future. These programs play an important role not only in enhancing students' knowledge and skills but also in determining their professional orientation.

According to TASS, students are learning to control drones in conditions similar to military exercises. Using special helmets, they strengthen their control.

Some parts of drones are produced at the school using available 3D printers. Students participating in the training also receive information about the use of drones on battlefields.

This program is funded by the Lithuanian Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Defense, and local authorities. Within the project, valued at 3.3 million euros, approximately 300 students are currently participating in the training sessions.

According to The Guardian, the program is organized in various directions depending on age groups. For example, 3rd and 4th-grade students aged 8-10 learn to assemble and control simple drones.

Older students study drone parts design, production using 3D printers, as well as assembling complex models and effective control. This educational program is of great importance in preparing the younger generation for technological fields.
